Laurel Ng, our Co-Founder and Floral Artisan / Instructor, is a certified Floral Designer by the American Institute of Floral Design and World Flower Council. Laurel is also a certified Trainer / Assessor by ACTA Singapore. She has decades of experience in the industry.

After starting out with her church’s flower arrangements, Laurel’s portfolio rapidly expanded to include events such as wedding solemnisations and church wedding decorations. Laurel also specialises in formal dining events for weddings, graduation ceremonies and the hosting of foreign dignitaries at venues such as the Istana Lawn (Formal Dining with President Tony Tan). Currently, Laurel's portfolio also encompasses the realm of floral academia, in the capacity of a WDA certified floral trainer and assessor.

Laurel is well versed with conducting both private and corporate workshops, having taught at a plethora of settings ranging from private residences, malls (Jurong Point), Eldercare Centres (XinYuan), MNCs (Sembcorp, IKEA etc.) as well as at the People’s Association.

 

Using her extensive knowledge of internationally recognised floral techniques and design, Laurel is able to customize both her lessons and floral pieces to suit each client’s individual preferences and level of floral design experience. Some of her more renowned Designer Florals include Break-Through, Floral Hammock, Midollino Floral and Cornucopia Floral.

Over the course of her career, Laurel has participated in 2 flower arrangement competitions (9th International FDSS Floral Design Competition in 2014, Table Top Floral Display Competition by Singapore Garden Festival,  2016), winning the Merit awards for both.
